My trainer asked me to ride Amp for her over the weekend, and I was happy to oblige! No pics from Saturday, but I did manage to get some today. ^^
Look at that frame in the trot (top two pics)!!! Took me TWO RIDES to get him there. AAAAHHHH! He looks so good! You should ahve seen his nose out, head up, giraffe trot from 2 rides ago. xD
And his canter (second row) is still so sloppy and his head isn't at all where it should be, but at this point, the fact that he is cantering and not galloping is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge improvement. He is horribly unballanced and HEAVY on the forehand, but it'll get better. ^^
And for some wee jumping. These are 18 inch verticals taken at a trot. I know it's awkward and weird looking, but he was refusing every single fence the first time he was jumped (a week ago?). This is sooooooooooooooooooooo much better. <3
I'm so proud of him and how quickly he is catching on. I love his eagerness to understand and willingness to try. He has still got a really long way to go, but he's already accomplished so much!

he looks better in every photo... it seems ha has already gained a lot of weight... how is that little pony you were trying to rescue?
